In my eight years as a photographer, I’ve been extremely lucky to get to work with all kinds of amazing human beings, As you’d expect, every couple is different from the next. Some are all about the PDA, some are goofy and downright hysterical, and some people… well, some are all about keeping it sweet and romantic.
Meet Austin and Bailie, two of the sweetest people I’ve worked with. We got together at a local farmstead to celebrate their engagement and capture some amazing portraits.
The entire time these two were super easy-going, fun, and willing to try anything. I definitely tested them a time or two when I had them stand or pose in some “feels weird but looks great” positions. We had a couple photobombers– first a few curious kitties and then a playful pony. Austin and Bailie were innocently snugging on a blanket in a pasture when a white pony came over to check things out and actually tried to snack on my blanket.
My favorite part of the session was hearing all about how these two met at Whitey’s and how he proposed. Each love story is unique, and I love hearing them!
These two will officially tie the know on April 10, 2021 at The Stern Center in Rock Island. Enjoy a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
