It means that I have joined an worldwide association of professional photographers. I care about continually developing my skill through education opportunities. I care about and respect copyright and the creative talent of others. I want to develop a profitable and sustainable business. I value my business and my gear enough to protect them. I have a group of talented mentors and peers to work with, learn from, and ask questions of. I receive business resources including forms and contracts, sales and marketing tools, and Professional Photographer magazine to support me in my business journey.
