The weather is finally coming around and we’ve had some time to get out and do some engagement portraits! Today I introduce you to Blake and Mercedes. When Mercedes saw my list of suggested engagement session locations, she immediately jumped on Vanderveer Park, as that’s where they had recently gotten engaged. Naturally, we had to re-create the proposal at the exact location– this time in the daylight!
We were blessed with a beautiful day and amazing golden sunlight– what I found to be quite fitting for their adorable love. These two had a bit of a whirlwind romance– only three months dating before Blake popped the question! (Ironically, my husband and I dated for only three months, too, so I can totally relate!) These two are the absolute sweetest couple, always giggling and snuggling. And, they brought their adorable pup, Chenille, with them!
Blake and Mercedes will be married in June of 2020 at the Illinois Beach Resort in Zion, Illinois. I can’t wait to spend the day capturing their beautiful love for each other! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their recent engagement session!
